  • The noises a women makes during intercourse don't always signal her orgasm. British researchers say. The 71 women in their study were more likely to climax during foreplay, but made the most intense noises during their partner's orgasm. Eighty seven percent said they use noises to boost his self-esteem and two-thirds do it to encourage him to finish. (The study cites pain, boredom and time limitations.) Faking it allows women to manipulate male behavior, says study author Gayle Brewer, PhD. Intercourse can be your time for her, use your tongue, lips and fingers.
